CVADD provides assistance to cities and counties in the district that help in the daily operations of running their government. Such assistance includes tax rate calculations, budget preparation, research of Attorney General Opinions and Statutes, preparation of personnel policies, grant research and application preparation. The district’s Public Administration Specialist acts as a liaison between local governments and state and federal governments in the gathering, coordination and dissemination of information relevant to local government.
Public Administration activities are funded through the Joint Funding Agreement (JFA) with the Department for Local Government.
