The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program consists of a full-time ombudsman, plus trained volunteers who serve as friendly visitors, some of which are also certified long term care ombudsman and they advocate for quality care in the eight (8) Cumberland Valley counties. Long Term Care Ombudsman provide information and training to residents and families related the preservation of Resident’s Rights, assist in identifying additional resources in and out of the facilities, offer guidance with involuntary discharges, well as, assist in the resolution of concerns/complaints by or on behalf of Assisted Living and Long Term Care residents.
